I myself have dived into the world of Chrono Trigger about a couple weeks ago, and instantly, I was hooked. Hearing this ballad remix of a song used for touching/sad scenes in the game not only brings those scenes back to me, but makes me feel calmer and more at peace. Sort of a stress reliever, if you ask me...

I used to listen to them whenever I could way back when.
Back to the song, it's got a decent beat, no too fast or too slow. The lyrics are interesting, to say the least. Overall, this song is pretty great!

It gets repetitive, though you do let up at one point.
And yeah, more variety would've been nice.
Hey, why don't you make a second version? Keep the rock feel, but add in something like, say, a guitar duel for instance? I don't have many ideas, just throwing something out there.

I really like the style you gave this song, sounds kinda eastern, or more specific, samurai in parts. Great title choice too, suits it well!
